Portal/Well' is the deeply melodic, dense, austere & wildly unhinged debut album from Insect Ark. Written, performed & recorded by Dana Schechter (Angels Of Light / Bee And Flower) in complete solitude, in her Brooklyn studio.

Portal/Well' finds its voice in the haunting groans of the lap steel guitar, the stalking bass, the insistent drum programming & the deep oscillations of synthesisers.

Portal/Well' was completed just before the addition of Ashley Spungin on drums (January 2015).
